New to Goblis Foundation?

What we do, in plain language.

You are supporting Goblis Foundation, a Kenya-based non-profit foundation. Goblis runs two distinct programmes and uses specialist partners where another institution owns the relevant expertise.

Restricted institutional-partner supportOpen

Expand access to practical learning, enterprise development, research and innovation.

The Ubunifu Access & Innovation Fund is a Goblis Foundation-administered restricted fund for agreed Ubunifu Institute activities under executed funding agreements, approved budgets and reporting conditions.

The case for support

Need → opportunity → accountability.

We want supporters to understand the purpose before being asked to pay.

01 · The challenge

What is getting in the way?

People and organisations can miss useful learning, enterprise-development, research and innovation opportunities when access costs, programme capacity and enabling infrastructure are not adequately financed.

02 · Why now

Why does this deserve attention?

Ubunifu is building a connected model spanning founder development, learning, institutional services, market access, research/MERM and innovation. Purpose-defined support can widen access and strengthen capability without confusing Goblis and Ubunifu governance.

03 · What support unlocks

What becomes possible?

Support can finance agreed learner access, social-enterprise development, research/MERM, innovation activities, Hub capability or related approved work under a Goblis–Ubunifu agreement.

Who benefits

The people, communities or capabilities this fund exists to strengthen.

Eligible learners, social entrepreneurs, organisations and research/innovation participants reached through specifically agreed Ubunifu activities funded under the governing arrangement.

Goblis responsibility

Who is accountable for the fund?

Goblis receives, restricts, accounts for and reports on this fund under its agreements. Ubunifu remains responsible for the learning, enterprise-development, research or innovation activities it is contracted or funded to deliver.

Institutional boundary

Goblis administers the fund; Ubunifu remains a separate institution.

Funding, delivery, learning authority, data and reporting responsibilities follow the executed agreement. The fund does not merge the two organisations.

01

Donors & funders

Finance the purpose responsibly

Give to the Goblis-administered fund or establish a structured grant for agreed Ubunifu activities. Large/institutional support should define budget, deliverables, reporting, data/IP and close-out terms.

02

Applicants / participants

Use the programme route, not the payment route

This campaign does not create admission to Ubunifu. Learners or founders must use the relevant programme/application journey and meet the responsible institution’s criteria.

03

Partners

Contribute capability under clear authority

Funders and strategic partners can support defined Ubunifu work through a tripartite or otherwise scoped agreement where authority, finance, data and reporting are explicit.

Evidence boundary

Support enables work; it does not manufacture results.

Ubunifu Institute remains a separate institution. Goblis does not control Ubunifu admissions, assessment, credentials or internal operations merely because Goblis administers a restricted fund supporting agreed work.

Finance, activity, output and outcome evidence remain distinguishable. Goblis does not publish targets as achievements.

Need a larger structure?

Use a fund or funding-partner agreement.

If your support requires a named sub-fund, geographic restriction, multi-year budget, reporting conditions, matching arrangement or organisational portal, start with the structured support route rather than a simple payment.

Fund allocationEvery contribution is allocated to a governed fund ledger.
Payment ≠ impactFinancial reconciliation and impact evidence remain separate.
No guaranteed outcomeSupport enables approved work; evidence determines results.
Human accountabilityConsequential approvals remain attributable to authorised people.
