Deletion Policy

How Goblis Foundation receives, verifies and decides requests to delete personal information or close digital records.

01

Request route

Submit a deletion or data-rights request through the Goblis Foundation Contact Engine using the privacy/data-protection topic. A case reference will be created.

02

Identity verification

Goblis Foundation may request proportionate evidence that the requester is the person concerned or is authorised to act for them before altering or deleting records.

03

What may be deleted

Data that is no longer required, has no overriding lawful retention basis and can be removed without compromising security, audit, safeguarding, financial or legal obligations may be deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

04

What may need to remain

Financial, tax, audit, legal, safeguarding, fraud-prevention, programme-evidence and dispute records may need to be retained for an applicable period even after a deletion request.

05

Backups and derived records

Deletion from active systems may not instantly remove data from protected backups. Backups are governed by retention and restore controls and are not used to recreate deleted active records except where a legitimate restore requires reconciliation.

06

Decision evidence

The Foundation records the request, verification state, decision basis, action taken and completion evidence in its controlled data-subject request workflow.
