Choose the support relationship that matches what you want to make possible.
Individuals and institutions can give directly, propose a purpose-led fund, support an existing initiative or build a longer-term funding relationship. Each pathway has a different governance, payment and evidence boundary.
What we do, in plain language.
You are supporting Goblis Foundation, a Kenya-based non-profit foundation. Goblis runs two distinct programmes and uses specialist partners where another institution owns the relevant expertise.
Give once, structure a fund, back an initiative or become a funding partner.
Choose the route that reflects the relationship you actually want. Goblis will not convert a simple donation into a complex agreement, or activate a restricted fund before its purpose and governance are agreed.
A proposal is not an account and a donor does not become the programme owner.
Confirm that the proposed support fits Jikimu, Mashinani, shared Foundation capability or an approved cross-cutting AfriTrace/evidence need.
Review legal identity, funding source, safeguarding/data conditions, financial controls, sanctions/compliance where applicable and delivery feasibility.
Document restrictions, budget, decision rights, reporting, evidence, duration, disbursement and close-out expectations.
Where useful, an authorised organisation account can receive only the fund/grant information and controlled updates assigned to it.
A named or purpose-restricted fund can be created only after approval.
Examples may include youth enterprise, rural women’s enterprise, climate-resilient livelihoods, skills, county/place-based development or another donor-defined purpose that fits Goblis Foundation’s mission and legal responsibilities.
Terminology boundary: Goblis does not describe these arrangements as donor-advised funds unless a specific legally and tax-valid donor-advised-fund structure has been established.
Propose a fundOrganisation-scoped, not open-book access.
Approved funders can use an organisation account with authorised sub-users. The portal can show assigned agreements, conditions, approved budget information, disbursements, milestones, reports, evidence references and funder-safe updates. Goblis Finance records, participant data and internal programme records remain authoritative and purpose-scoped.
