Fund defined outcomes in Kenya without changing the mission to fit the grant.
Goblis Foundation works with funders that want clear programme purpose, realistic budgets, safeguards, measurable progress and evidence-backed reporting. Funding can support Jikimu social entrepreneurship or Mashinani rural development when the proposed work genuinely fits those programmes.
Start with the development outcome—not the funding instrument.
We first test whether the proposed work belongs inside Jikimu, Mashinani or a clearly governed cross-programme activity. A grant, contribution or co-financing relationship does not create a new Goblis programme or expand partner authority by itself.
Jikimu
Social entrepreneurship
Access, responsible enterprise development, evidence and follow-up for people building solutions to social or environmental problems. Where learning is required, Ubunifu Institute remains responsible for learning, assessment and credentials.
Locally defined rural priorities that may involve livelihoods, enterprise, services, institutions, infrastructure, resilience, environment or other place-based development needs.
Where directly necessary for programme delivery, a governed award can support MERM, safeguarding, field evidence, technology, partnership coordination or other approved enabling capability.
Goblis is based in Kenya. We can discuss programme funding with eligible organisations internationally, subject to the funder’s rules, applicable law, due diligence, banking capability and an agreed reporting/data boundary. We do not claim overseas tax deductibility unless a specific legal route has been verified.
Europe
European Union institutions and foundations across Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Italy and the wider EU/EEA, together with Nordic funders in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland and eligible relationships in Switzerland supporting enterprise, rural resilience, research, innovation and community development.
United Kingdom
UK foundations, trusts, companies and institutional funders looking for accountable Kenya programmes and evidence-led partnerships.
United States & Canada
US private and corporate foundations, philanthropy programmes and Canadian grant-makers seeking measurable social-enterprise or rural-development outcomes in Kenya and East Africa.
UAE & Gulf
Philanthropic foundations, family offices and corporate social-impact programmes in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf markets where the purpose, banking and compliance route fit Goblis.
Singapore & Asia-Pacific
Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and other Asia-Pacific funders interested in responsible innovation, livelihoods, social enterprise and community development.
Global & multilateral
International foundations, development institutions and consortium opportunities where Goblis has a genuine programme role and the partnership does not overstate our mandate.
Grant accountability
One governed workspace from opportunity to close-out.
Our operating model separates prospecting, application, award, restricted-purpose controls, disbursement evidence, approved budget, commitments, milestones, reports and close-out. Finance remains authoritative for reconciled transactions; public impact claims remain evidence-gated.
Record the authoritative agreement, approved purpose, budget envelope, conditions, reporting calendar and decision rights.
03Milestones & evidence
Track programme milestones, financial/reconciliation evidence and reporting obligations without exposing unnecessary participant data.
04Review & close-out
Submit agreed reporting, resolve exceptions, reconcile obligations and preserve learning before renewal, scale or closure.
Data boundary: funding a programme does not give a donor blanket access to named participants, applicants or community records. Access is purpose-scoped and minimum-necessary.
Funder workspace
A grant relationship can have a scoped organisation portal without exposing the Foundation’s internal books or participant records.
For an awarded or due-diligence relationship, Goblis can assign a governed workspace to the funder organisation. Authorised sub-users see only the grants assigned to that organisation and only the information released for the agreed purpose.
Conditions & agreement
Authoritative award conditions, agreement references, data boundaries and reporting obligations remain visible as controlled states.
Budget & disbursements
Approved budget lines, tranche status and dated Finance-backed snapshots can be shared without turning the portal into the accounting ledger.
Milestones & evidence
Milestones, evidence references, controlled documents and funder-safe programme updates are separated from unrestricted internal records.
Scoped users
Organisation owners/admins and explicitly authorised programme, finance, reporting or viewer roles receive minimum-necessary access.
Authority boundary: the signed funding agreement, Goblis Finance records and programme evidence remain authoritative. A portal view is a governed collaboration surface, not a substitute for accounting, participant consent or programme ownership.
