How it works
Step 1
Explore and prepare
Identify your skills, location and availability. Goblis explains role expectations, supervision and current capacity.
Step 2
Register once and apply
Create an account, verify your email, save a private draft and submit it to the Volunteer Centre. An application does not create a placement.
Step 3
Screen and match
A coordinator reviews fit, role-appropriate checks, safeguarding and access needs. Clarification, a different route or a declined application may follow.
Step 4
Agree and induct
Agree the role, time, supervisor, code of conduct, data boundaries and any approved expense arrangements. Complete induction before starting.
Step 5
Serve with support
Work on approved assignments, record agreed activity and feedback, and attend supervisor check-ins. Use the safeguarding route for concerns.
Step 6
Review and progress
Review contribution and learning; renew, change roles or close with a handover. Any future paid vacancy requires a separate recruitment process.
