Who this is for

People in Kenya developing an idea or enterprise intended to create social value and ready to engage in assessment and agreed support.

An idea, an early enterprise and a growing venture need different support. Jikimu starts with your stage, social purpose and practical barriers.

What to prepare

  • Your idea or enterprise, stage and intended social value.
  • Who you aim to serve and the support you need.
  • Your Kenya location and readiness to engage; no business plan purchase is needed to explore the pathway.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Check programme fit

Understand the Social Entrepreneurship Support Program. Describe your idea, early venture or established enterprise, social purpose and support needs.

  2. Step 2

    Register once at Goblis

Verify your email, save and review your application, then submit. Your private account retains its reference and recorded status.

  3. Step 3

    Assess readiness together

Goblis reviews needs and suitability. Outcomes can include clarification, a support plan, readiness work, redirection or a declined application with an explanation.

  4. Step 4

    Agree a support plan

Agree milestones and suitable mentoring, expertise, networks or market connections. Specialist referrals require a specific purpose and permission.

  5. Step 5

    Activate approved learning

For an approved Ubunifu pathway, Goblis reserves access and provides an activation link or token when the partner connection is available. Activate at Ubunifu without another Goblis application or participant payment. Ubunifu controls learning, enrolment, assessment and credentials.

  6. Step 6

    Complete and follow through

Record completion and agreed evidence. Goblis retains the programme relationship and follows outcomes at 6, 12 and 24 months under agreed contact permissions. Reported progress is distinguished from independently verified outcomes.

Routing, references and recorded status updates support your journey. People assess suitability, consent, safeguarding and commitments. Partner activation requires an approved handoff and an available connection.

Common questions

Do I need an established enterprise?

Explain whether you are at idea, starting, operating or growth stage. Support is assessed against your needs and programme capacity.

Must I donate to apply?

No. Donor campaigns are separate. A donation does not improve selection or buy access.

Who handles the learning handoff?

Start with Goblis Jikimu. Any approved learning handoff uses a separate, consented activation process; the institute retains its learning decisions.
